Terms of Service

    Last updated July 27, 2026

    1. Who we are

TixSimple is a ticketing platform that lets event organizers publish events, sell tickets, and check attendees in. By creating an account or buying a ticket you agree to these terms.

    2. Accounts

Organizers sign in with an email and password; ticket buyers sign in with a magic link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your email inbox secure.

    3. Organizer responsibilities

    • You are the seller of record for your events and tickets.
    • You must describe events accurately, including dates, venue, and refund terms.
    • You are responsible for delivering the event and for honoring valid tickets.
    • You must comply with applicable tax, consumer, and event-safety laws.

    4. Payments and fees

Payments are processed by Stripe. Organizers connect a Stripe account and receive payouts directly from Stripe under Stripe's terms. TixSimple charges a per-ticket platform fee, which the organizer may pass to the buyer or absorb. Current fees are shown on our pricing page and at checkout before purchase.

    5. Refunds and cancellations

Refund decisions belong to the organizer of each event. Contact the organizer first. Platform and payment processing fees may be non-refundable.

    6. Tickets

Tickets are issued with a unique QR code and are marked used when scanned. Duplicating, reselling outside of approved channels, or tampering with a ticket may void it.

    7. Acceptable use

    • No fraudulent, misleading, or illegal events or listings.
    • No uploading of malware, scraping, or attempts to bypass access controls.
    • No use of the platform to send unsolicited bulk email (see our anti-spam policy).

    8. Suspension

We may suspend or remove accounts, events, or content that violate these terms, create risk of chargebacks or fraud, or harm other users.

    9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TixSimple is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the platform fees you paid to us in the three months before the claim.

    10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
