Endurance event registration

Cycling event registration built for categories and wave starts

Cycling events need more than a ticket. TixSimple collects category, age group, emergency contact, and waiver signatures while letting you limit each wave start.

How this type of ticketing works

Cycling events usually split riders into categories, age groups, and wave starts. TixSimple's custom attendee fields let you collect all the details at checkout: category, gender, age, emergency contact, team name, and waiver agreement. Each ticket type can have its own cap and start time.

Riders receive a QR code by email and can add it to their phone wallet. At check-in, staff scan the QR code and verify the wave assignment. After the event, export the full rider list with all fields for timing, results, and next year's marketing.

What to set up in TixSimple

    1. 1Create a cycling event with date, start location, and route description.
    2. 2Add ticket types for each category: e.g., Gran Fondo, Medio Fondo, Family Ride, e-Bike.
    3. 3Set wave start times and capacity limits per wave.
    4. 4Add custom fields: category, age, emergency contact, team, waiver signature.
    5. 5Connect Stripe and publish the registration page.
    6. 6Share with bike clubs, shops, Strava groups, and local cycling communities.

    Fee example: Gran fondo registration
